Shade logic puzzle
Alone: free shade logic puzzle online
Shade cells so the remaining numbers are unique in every row and column. Shaded cells cannot share an edge, and all unshaded cells must stay connected by sides.
No account needed. For today's shared board, open the Daily Challenge.
Start here
When three matching numbers sit next to each other in a row or column, keep the middle one unshaded and shade the outer two. Shading the middle would leave a repeated pair.
How a turn works
Click a cell to cycle unshaded, shaded, and note states as you eliminate repeats. Watch neighbors so shaded cells never share an edge.
Difficulty
We aim for each board to fit one sitting. Easy is shorter. Hard takes longer. If you want more, start another puzzle.
